The Lineup & Story
A lively acoustic rock trio with melodic finesse and a healthy dose of rhythm.
Formed in 2022 around Warren Barriga and Philippe Reist, Solar Fingers was born to awaken the Swiss rock landscape with pure, unvarnished acoustic guitars.
Influenced by seminal 70s to 90s blues and classic rock, the two songwriters connected through the fertile Chablais blues network. They were soon joined by elder brother Randall Barriga, “Randy”, whose acoustic percussion and organic live sampling provided the definitive rhythmic engine the band had envisioned.
Their original songs center on timeless, raw human themes: the search for self, perseverance, the grit to venture into the unknown, and genuine devotion. No artificial layers—just three musicians in lockstep.
“No backing loops, no autotune. We play with two hands on real wooden boxes, acoustic strings, and the acoustic pressure of a real room.”
